Cricket Wireless Teams up with ARGONAUT to Connect Fans Nationwide
Jun. 11, 2024
As the 2024 World Cup for Cricket continues to attract fans to fields in New York, Texas, and Florida where matches are being played, Cricket Wireless is tapping into the fandom to promote its unparalleled plans.
Cricket Wireless CMO Tony Mokry has this to say about the campaign and why linking with a sport on the rise proved the perfect play to elevate the Cricket brand.
He said:
"As a brand we are always looking for ways to tap into what's happening culturally in an authentic way. This felt like such a natural connection for us - not just because of the name, which is fun - because we have a lot of shared attributes beyond that. We're both fast, available nationwide, and our fans love us. Howzat!?”
Hemant Anant Jain, Head of Creative at creative agency ARGONAUT added:
"This is such an exciting time for Cricket (the sport!) as we see it growing in popularity here in the U.S. From the T20 World Cup to its return to the Olympics at LA28 and the U.S. fielding a strong team. Who better to celebrate Cricket than Cricket? We knew we had to have a little fun with it."
