Fivestone Studios Adds Former Hasbro Brand Manager Rachel Fleming to Account Team

May. 24, 2024

Taking another giant-sized step forward in their company’s growth as a world-class creative leader, the immersive multimedia specialists at Fivestone Studios are proud to welcome former Hasbro Brand Manager and acclaimed athlete Rachel Fleming to their account management team. Fivestone’s Founder and Chief Creative Officer Traylor Woodall confirms Rachel’s appointment to the position of Account Executive.

An acclaimed Academic All-American and former professional basketball player who earned her undergraduate and MBA degrees from The University of Akron, Rachel joins Fivestone from Hasbro, where she spent the past seven years with the iconic toy and game company. Beginning as an Associate Project Manager for Hasbro Gaming, Rachel rose to hold the position of Brand Manager for Transformers for over three years, before serving as Licensing Manager - Global Business Development since early 2022.

In these hands-on roles, Rachel’s work was highly impactful for Hasbro. For example, managing the $100M+ portfolio of Transformers Generation toys for the Older Kid and Fan Business, Rachel also helped ideate, create, and launch the next fan trilogy, Legacy ... and successfully crowdfunded the very first Transformers toy, the $500 Unicron action figure. Having starred in the first virtual Hasbro PulseCon live event and several Fan First Friday livestreams showcasing new toys for fans, she also helped source, negotiate, and close in-license IP deals for Hasbro toy and game brands with Universal, Netflix, Paramount, VizMedia, Volkswagen, GM, and others.

Rachel remains the all-time leading scorer and rebounder for The University of Akron’s Women’s Basketball Program. Her monumental achievements at the university include 2013 Mid-Atlantic Conference (MAC) Player of the Year, and for 2014, Female Student-Athlete of the Year, MAC Tournament MVP, MAC Champion, and Capital One Academic All-American First Team. To this day, Rachel is still only one of two females in MAC history to score 2,000+ points and secure 1,000+ rebounds.

Traylor commented:

“Rachel still embodies her competitive spirit from her time in sports, and we see that as an immense benefit to Fivestone. A highly motivated go-getter, her attention to detail and focus on relational equity is exactly what we need from her position. Fivestone has a growing client base and as we diversify our offerings, we will continue adding key positions, and hoping to find new team members of Rachel’s exceptional caliber.”

Rachel added:

"I can confidently say that my favorite thing about Fivestone is the people. Everyone is extremely passionate, detailed, and talented. I am fortunate to have found such a special place to work."

To support Fivestone’s growth as a world-class creative leader, the company continues to seek out dynamic individuals driven to innovate and collaborate with the world’s best.
