German Creative Agency Jung von Matt SPORTS Launches in the US

Jung von Matt SPORTS, Europe’s most awarded creative agency in sports, has named U.S. soccer and sports marketing expert Brian Remedi as Managing Director for its newly founded U.S. office. The office will be based in Los Angeles in the spotlight of the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup and 2028 Summer Olympic Games. The German headquartered agency, which has operations in nine countries worldwide, is already working on behalf of U.S. brands such as Topps, Coca-Cola, CLIF Bar & Company, and Los Angeles Football Club.

In recent years Jung von Matt SPORTS has raised the bar for creative benchmarks on the global agency map in sports business. Through various awarded case studies and campaigns in the sponsorship and digital environment of the FIFA World Cup, the UEFA Euro and the UEFA Champions League as well as the Olympic & Paralympic Games, the agency has been recognized for its outstanding creative and digital work for rights holders, sponsors and athletes. Further, Jung von Matt SPORTS has become a global leader in Esports & Gaming, working with brands and publishers such as BMW, Amazon, ESL, EA Sports, Mercedes-Benz, Vodafone, Hisense and Erste Group. In July 2022, the agency was honored as "Best in Show" at the 4th Annual Hashtag Sports Awards in Las Vegas, ahead of the likes of NFL, ESPN, NBA, Fox Sports, WWE, and Bleacher Report. To continue its global growth, the agency is now launching business operations in the Americas, while looking ahead to a decade of megaevents, including the 2026 FIFA World Cup, the 2028 Summer Olympic Games in Los Angeles, and the 2031 Rugby World Cup.

The agency has tapped Brian Remedi, a 20-year veteran of the sports and entertainment industry, to lead the company's expansion. Remedi previously spent 12 years with the U.S. Soccer Federation as Chief Administration Officer, as well as three years with International Sport & Leisure (ISL) and FIFA Marketing. During his time with U.S. Soccer, the U.S. Women's National Team won two FIFA World Cups and one Olympic gold medal. Remedi was a member of the United Bid Team that successfully secured the hosting rights to the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will be co-hosted by the United States, Canada and Mexico. In addition to his new role as Managing Director of the newly founded Jung von Matt SPORTS Inc., Remedi will join the international football team of Jung von Matt SPORTS as Global Head of Football & Americas.
