To mark the 150th anniversary of its founding, Audemars Piguet presents a new short film created specifically for the Italian market, starring the eclectic actor Pierfrancesco Favino, a leading figure in Italian cinema and a friend of the brand.

The Testimonial, directed by filmmaker Alice Fassi and produced by the Italian production company C41, is a creative tribute to the history of Audemars Piguet, retracing with irony and depth some of the most significant moments that have shaped the brand’s evolution.

Pierfrancesco Favino plays the role of an unconventional testimonial, guiding the audience on an immersive journey through the symbolic locations of the historic Manufacture in Le Brassus, in the Vallée de Joux: from the original restoration atelier, to the more contemporary Musée Atelier Audemars Piguet designed by Danish architect Bjarke Ingels, and finally to the modern headquarters spaces.

Through anecdotes, curiosities and iconic creations, the film celebrates Audemars Piguet’s pioneering vision, from its early timepieces, to the debut of the first Royal Oak in 1972, to the ongoing fascination with astronomy and the cosmos, a continuous source of inspiration for the Manufacture.

With this project, Audemars Piguet reaffirms its commitment to combining heritage and innovation, projecting itself towards the next chapter of creative evolution.
