Award-Winning Director Alicia MacDonald Joins ALLDAYEVERYDAY

ALLDAYEVERYDAY is proud to announce the signing of Director Alicia MacDonald for US advertising and branded content representation. Known for her authentic comedic performances and sharp eye for casting, Alicia has built a diverse body of compelling and engaging projects, spanning commercials, television, and short films. Enjoying a groundswell of creative momentum, Alicia’s debut feature, “Cc:Emily,” (Focus Features/Working Title Films), a romantic comedy with ‘Mare Of Easttown’ star Angourie Rice & Spike Fearn, is currently in post-production.
Among her many notable credits, Alicia recently directed an episode and co-executive produced Lena Dunham’s Netflix series, “Too Much.” Her other television directing credits include “Flack” starring Anna Paquin, Irish-Canadian comedy “SisterS,” (Amazon Prime), Stephen Merchant’s Rose D'or nominated "The Outlaws" and Channel 4’s “Pure.” Her commercial portfolio includes work for McDonald’s, Durex, Toyota, Jaguar, Nescafe, and Google. Alicia has also made several short films including ‘Taxing,’ starring Charlotte Ritchie, ‘Domestic Policy starring Leslie Manville and ‘Otherwise Engaged,’ featuring Hannah Arterton and Mark Quartley.

UK-based Alicia MacDonald was one of the inaugural directors signed to Missing Link Films – a London headquartered company and creative studio with which ALLDAY enjoys a collaborative relationship. Lending her talent to many noted advertising collaborations, in 2024 she was named one of the top 5 five top directors by Campaign Magazine, which also recognized her in-safety flight film for travel brand TUI, “Safety: A Global Film.” Her award-winning work has also been honored by the British Arrows and Kinsale Sharks along with accolades from the YDA and NDA at Cannes Lions.
