Sep. 25, 2026
Independent media agency Bountiful Cow has been appointed by Butternut Box following a competitive pitch. Founded in 2016, Butternut Box is Europe’s leading fresh dog food provider, on a mission to deliver health and happiness to dogs and their humans everywhere. The company makes fresh, gently cooked meals for dogs using human-quality ingredients.
The agency will lead above-the-line media strategy, planning and buying for Butternut Box, supporting the brand as it continues its mission to make fresh food the default choice for pet owners. The account was awarded following a competitive pitch process run in-house.
Sarah Rae, Brand Marketing Lead UK & I, Butternut Box, said:
"Bountiful Cow consistently impressed us throughout the pitch. They have real depth of media expertise and a rigorous approach to effectiveness, but they also understood what makes Butternut Box different and weren't afraid to challenge our thinking. We wanted a partner who could bring specialist expertise to the table while working as a genuine extension of our team. We felt that combination very strongly with Bountiful Cow, and we’re looking forward to putting that into practice as we continue to grow the brand."
Adam Foley, Chief Executive Officer at Bountiful Cow, said:
"We'e been long-time admirers of Butternut Box since the "Taste-tested on humans" campaign - they'e not like any other dog food brand. When we started to get a sense of the ambition, energy and purpose within the business, the opportunity to work with them was too good to miss. We're looking forward to building on the outstanding work their in-house team have already done and to help them realise that ambition."
