Celeb Streamer Takes on a Social Experiment to Show Gamers How Eating Better

INTERBEV, a French interprofession that promote flexitarianism with its campaign “Love meat, eat it better”, have launched the “Eat like your avatar”  operation in collaboration with French gamer Valouzz.

In video games, gamers spend an enormous amount of time concocting recipes that earn them extra performance points.  Healthy, well-balanced meals.  Their avatar, in theory, is eating as if a flexitarian. Whereas, in real life, unlike their avatar, gamers eat whatever they can get their hands on.  Even with good intentions to eat better, they don't really know how.

Valouzz, a YouTube star who made his name via his channel alternating between vlogging personal adventures and gameplay sequences, took the challenge: for a fortnight, he had to eat and cook the same foods and recipes as those unlocked by his avatar in the famous adventure game Zelda.

On his social platforms, Valouzz chronicled his experience during the 15 day challenge.

Like a logbook, it's a real dive into his daily life, where all his challenges, joys and difficulties are shared, and above all the benefits this challenge has brought him.  Watch the short documentary that has already racked up over 285K views.

A real social experiment to show gamers that eating better in general makes you feel better, and ultimately makes you a better player!
