Cutters Studios Adds London-Based Editor Elena De Palma for Exclusive U.S. Representation

Feb. 24, 2023

High-end editorial boutique Cutters is very proud to announce the immediate addition of distinguished Editor Elena De Palma to its roster for exclusive representation across the U.S.A. The announcement was made by Cutters New York Managing Director/Executive Producer Caitlin Grady.

For De Palma, the vast changes reshaping the world of advertising over the past few years have resulted in some incredible opportunities. A highly accomplished creative editor working in commercials and music videos, she also lives for the occasional short film project for one of her many groundbreaking creative collaborators worldwide.

Her commercial projects span virtually all genres and involve talents of the highest caliber. Examples include Coca Cola’s “The Wonder of Us” Super Bowl spot directed by Alma Har’el; the multi-award-winning Mercedes-Benz #YouDrive spot directed by Yann Demange; her comedic spots for director Camila Zapiola; her fashion-forward spots for director Sophie Edelstein; her heartwarming collaborations with director Ben Liam Jones; her VFX-intensive and/or rapid-turnaround spots with Fredrik Bond, Emile Rafael, and the Ne-o directing duo; and her highly intelligent charity projects for Crisis, Arthritis Research, and NSPCC, the leading UK charity concerned with the fight against child abuse.

Often traveling the world to edit on set, De Palma loves the adventure of her chosen profession, and is deeply dedicated to continuously perfecting her craft.

Grady began:

"Having worked with Elena previously, I have experienced firsthand her incredible passion for and devotion to her craft. She is steadfast in her efforts to manifest beautiful cuts and exceptional client experiences. Her work is melodic and has a natural flow that feels effortless to the viewer. It’s beautiful to watch a spot evolve in her hands as she tirelessly, carefully crafts together picture, sound, and graphics."

From Cutters’ studio operations in New York, Chicago, Detroit, Los Angeles, Kansas City, and Tokyo, its talents are readily available to edit anywhere in the world. Grady also addressed De Palma’s addition in this context.

She explained:

"Our editors are available in all our offices, virtually from anywhere, or on-site where we need them. As a premiere global post-production company, having such a talented editor in London who is also available in all our offices adds a very exciting new dimension."

De Palma said:

"I had just started to collaborate on some incredible projects here in the U.S., leading to my first Super Bowl spot, and then the pandemic hit. Luckily for me, Caitlin, who is well known in the industry for nurturing talent, reached out and offered me a new opportunity at Cutters."

De Palma continued:

"Caitlin is insightful, savvy, and always thinking about the bigger picture. I’m really excited to be part of this new chapter at Cutters as part of its amazing roster of talents."
