Feb. 02, 2026
Award-winning production company HAMLET has signed Paris-based director Ugo Mangin for representation in Belgium, France, The Netherlands, Germany, APAC, China and Japan.
With a strong focus on comedy, Mangin has brought his distinctive blend of staged visuals and sharp dialogue to commercials for household name brands including Burger King, Heetch, La Poste, and Flying Blue.
Known for his direct, precise and modern approach to storytelling, Mangin began his career working in fashion film, where he collaborated with luxury brands including Yves Saint Laurent, Dior and Bulgari. Meanwhile his music video credits include promos for Ichon, Justice, and Ninho.
Clement Martorell, EP, HAMLET France said:
“I have followed Ugo’s work since the very beginning of his career, and what stands out is the rare sensitivity that runs throughout all of his work, coupled with a deep understanding of how our society speaks today. His approach and vision aligns perfectly with the way we support and develop our directors at HAMLET, ”
Ugo Mangin, director, added:
“HAMLET is a company I’ve followed for a long time, one that’s developing an increasingly compelling perspective: sharp, well-produced, ambitious projects, with a strong focus on directing and staging and a distinct signature—particularly in comedy— in the direction I want to move in. I’m very happy to be joining a company that feels like a small family, with a tight-knit roster yet a real level of creative ambition. We already have several projects underway, and I can’t wait to share them,”
