Independentmedia Taps Kelly O'Neill to Lead West Coast Representation
Nov. 04, 2025
IndependentMedia is pleased to announce a new partnership with Kelly O'Neill, who will represent the company on the West Coast. With more than a decade of experience in talent representation, sales, and strategic partnerships, O’Neill brings her distinctive, relationship-driven approach to a collaboration that reflects IndependentMedia’s ongoing growth and creative evolution.
O'Neill began her career in-house at Furlined before joining Shortlist Mgmt, where she rose to partner. Most recently, she launched Main Squeeze Mgmt, her own company built around a personal, hands-on approach to sales and artist development. Through her new partnership with IndependentMedia, O'Neill continues her mission to connect bold creative voices with brands and agencies, aligning with a company celebrated for its collaborative spirit and cinematic storytelling.
Founded over twenty years ago by Susanne Preissler, IndependentMedia has built a roster of diverse, award-winning directors whose work spans the intersections of film, television, and advertising.
O’Neill said:
“I’ve always been someone who seeks growth and new challenges. Launching Main Squeeze gives me the opportunity to redefine what representation can look like, and partnering with IndependentMedia feels like a natural next step in this journey. It takes guts to start your own company, and Susanne did it two decades ago when the industry was more of a boys’ club than ever—that takes courage and a clear vision.”
Preissler added:
“Kelly represents a new wave of representation — she’s not chasing the quick win, she’s building something with integrity. What impressed me most is that she treats her work as a calling, not just another job. I’m thrilled to have her as part of our team.”
