Jogger Studios Welcomes Creative Director Josh Kirschenbaum
Aug. 08, 2024
Jogger Studios is excited to unite with Creative Director Josh Kirschenbaum, an artist known for his vision, creativity and unwavering curiosity. Throughout his noted career, Josh has worked closely with some of the world's top brands and studios including Apple, Facebook, Google, Ford, Honda, Disney, 20th Century Fox, Paramount and others, helping bring their vision to life by designing visual effects shots, sequences, and creative solutions for media for screens of all sizes.
Jogger EP Alicia Cargile said:
"Josh’s intentional and thoughtful approach to jobs of all sizes and scopes is truly exceptional. I’ve had the pleasure of working with him for over 10 years at various studios and I’m elated to now have him here as my partner at Jogger. Our mutual plans for creative expansion and growth, while still maintaining the personal connection with our clients, is truly going to be a next-level glow up."
Josh relayed:
“Finding the art in what we do, in collaboration with others, is one of the most inspiring aspects of the process. So I am very happy to be reunited with Alicia, someone I greatly admire and enjoy, at this vibrant and dynamic company.”
Josh’s interest in digital media is rooted in time spent at the local news station where his father worked, and where Josh would play with equipment when no one was looking. Seeing the instant visualization of ideas on screen sparked a career that is at the intersection of technical and creative. Early in his career he was the liaison to James Cameron's Lightstorm Entertainment, and provided close technical and workflow support for the post production department on Terminator 2: The Special Edition as well as the blockbuster hit True Lies. Josh then moved into film production, serving as graphics display supervisor on such films as Congo, Spawn, Twister, Jerry Maguire, Dante's Peak, Titanic, and others.
Amburr Farls, Managing Partner added:
“Josh has a real calming strength. His extensive experience, exceptional knowledge, and his drive to keep learning and exploring makes not only our team, but also our clients feel confident and at ease. It’s exciting to watch how Josh approaches each project uniquely and provides creative solutions—big or small, complex or simple. We are thrilled to have him here with us to help lead Jogger into its next chapter.”
Drawn to the fast paced world of short form, Josh applied his production and post-production skills to provide VFX artistry and thought leadership to hundreds of advertising projects. He also helped expand the visual effects and finishing capabilities at various noted studios. Whether in entertainment, advertising, or the intersection of the two, storymaking and the inspiration that comes with collaboration are the driving forces in his career.
Josh concluded:
“Advertising is all about appealing to people’s ongoing delight in story. Working in this format means you have the opportunity to consistently explore new ideas and expand your perspective, all driven by the question ‘What story do we want to tell?’ It’s a never-ending challenge of the best kind.”
