Joybyte Promotes Myriah Castillo to President Following Record Growth

Nov. 04, 2025

Joybyte, the No. 1 influencer-led social marketing agency and fastest growing TikTok Shop Certified Agency in the United States, has promoted Myriah Castillo to president. Previously head of Social Strategy, Castillo has driven the agency’s explosive growth, innovative platform strategies, and evolution from startup focused boutique to a partner for major household brands.

Under Castillo’s leadership, Joybyte achieved 180% growth over the past two years. Her approach to emerging platforms and culturally intelligent marketing has expanded the agency’s client roster to include Eggland’s Best, 5-Hour Energy, Idahoan Foods, and Jackson’s Chips, while keeping the creative edge that makes Joybyte stand out.

Scott Brandon, CEO of EVOQ Group said:

“Myriah is a force—equal parts strategist, creator, and leader. She is not just keeping Joybyte ahead of trends; she is rewriting what is possible for influencer-led marketing. Her promotion to president is a reflection of her vision, relentless execution, and the transformative impact she has had on our clients, our team, and the industry at large.”

Castillo’s promotion reflects breakthrough work that has put the agency on new paths to success. When uncertainty surrounded TikTok’s future, she leaned into the agency’s vision for the platform’s creative potential, building Joybyte’s TikTok Shop program from the ground up.
The agency achieved TikTok Shop certification and now manages more than 30 brands within the program. In September, Joybyte onboarded more sellers than any other certified agency. She led campaigns such as Bakeful’s TikTok Shop launch—generating more than 30 million impressions and $40,000+ in sales in one month for a brand-new product—and Victory Monkeys’ “The Perfect Pour,” which racked up 6 million views by embracing creative absurdity. Beyond the numbers, Castillo has influenced how independent agencies think about risk, proving that “unhinged marketing” works when it’s rooted in genuine audience connection. Her philosophy of “train to win and fail fast, adapt rapidly, and move forward with purpose” has become part of Joybyte's DNA and is increasingly adopted by other agencies trying to balance creative risk with strategy.

Castillo said:

“I'm honored to lead an agency that refuses to follow the playbook everyone else is using. Our success comes from staying just ahead of the pulse, trying platforms, and creative approaches that others hesitate to touch, and never losing sight of authentic audience connection. This isn’t just about my journey—it validates what our entire team has had the courage to build.”

As president, Castillo will oversee strategic operations, drive new business development, and expand Joybyte’s position as a leader in influencer-led social marketing. As part of the EVOQ Group Collective, Myriah will work closely with EVOQ Group leadership and CEO Scott Brandon to scale the agency’s approach while keeping the entrepreneurial spirit that’s fueled its rapid growth.
