Nomad Appoints Brent Holt to Lead Austin Office
Aug. 04, 2026
Global creative post-production house Nomad welcomes Brent Holt as its Austin-based Executive Producer. In his new role leading the Austin office, Brent aims to grow Nomad’s presence in Austin and expand the company’s client-direct, turnkey work.
A Texas native, Brent started his career as an agency producer at TRG Dallas before moving to Ogilvy & Mather in New York, where he collaborated with clients like American Express and Shell. Since then, he has built his career as an EP by moving between agencies like Grey/NY, VML, and GSD&M and post- production and VFX companies like Brand New School, Method, and Beast Editorial. In the midst of his prolific career in the US, he moved to Italy to work with Armando Testa on the Fiat and Lavazza Coffee accounts. After relocating back to his home state of Texas, Brent served as the Director of Content Production for Dell Technologies' in-house ad agency.
He was part of the Richards Group team that delivered Cannes Lion-winning work for Motel 6 and the cinematic, sweeping 5-part campaign for Mazda, “5 Sides of the CX-5,” at VML, which covered five beloved movie genres—Romance, Action, Sci-Fi, Musical, and Horror—directed by Paul Hunter from Prettybird and shot by Oscar-winning cinematographer Hoyte van Hoytema. Brent’s other brand collaborations include campaigns for Zales, American Standard, Hershey's, Southwest Airlines, Fiat, GlaxoSmithKline, and AARP.
Brent says on joining Nomad:
“The company has a stellar reputation, and I’ve worked with the Austin team in a previous job, so it’s a little like coming home. Plus, I love being in the post world. This Austin team is inspiring and wonderful to work with, and I’m thrilled to be leading Nomad in Texas.”
Nomad LA Managing Director, Susye Melega remarked:
“Brent has a wealth of knowledge, and he’s fiercely dedicated to whatever he’s doing. His background bridges agency, VFX, and direct client relationships, and he is genuinely likable and easy to work with. We’re very excited to have him join us at Nomad.”
