Meet OL Lyonnes
With exceptional players and an impressive track record, including eight Champions League titles and 18 French national French titles, Lyon's women's football team is writing a new chapter in its history under the leadership of Michele Kang, owner of the club since 2024.
This new chapter begins with exclusive new branding that reflects the club's ambitions: to become the benchmark for women's football in Europe. First, there is a name change that encapsulates the club's DNA: they will now be called OL Lyonnes.
Bertille Toledano, President of BETC Paris said:
"It was exciting to create this new identity for OL Lyonnes. We were really keen to pay homage to the extraordinary talent and energy of these women while preserving the club's identity markers. Combining the city of origin and the team's temperament is the miracle that takes place in the name and logo. This strong, modern and feminine identity should attract new audiences to the club and to women's football."

Emblem of a new era, the crest features the original red and blue colours, enhanced with a new warmer and brighter gold, in reference to the team's victorious trophies.
The lion's body is transformed into the head of a roaring lioness, looking towards the future: it symbolises the audacity, energy and ambition of this conquering collective that is always pushing its limits.
New branded assets have also been incorporated: a crown, symbolising historic records and future successes, and a tricolour breastplate evoking the flame of football passion that animates and unites the players and their supporters.
The Lyon women are more Lyon than ever, and their spirit of conquest carries the Club and, more broadly, women's football.
