Creative studio Rascal has welcomed Tim Smith as senior colourist. Working closely with creative director James Bamford and colourist Dan Levy, the trio will blend their creative expertise to strengthen RASCAL’s colour department and creative offering.

With experience at a number of London-based post houses, including The Mill and Electric Theatre Collective, Tim has worked alongside cutting edge artists and contributed to projects that have made a lasting cultural impact.

Working with an innovation-centred approach and embracing contemporary post production practices, RASCAL offers the ideal home for Tim’s craft to grow and evolve. In his new role, Tim strives to build genuine client relationships, build positive connections and instil confidence in his creative instincts. He aims to keep RASCAL’s work vibrant and inspiring, focussing on artistic vision whilst nurturing the innovative spirit that underpins the studio – creating an environment where creativity flourishes and fresh ideas thrive, allowing the company to grow organically and push boundaries.

Tim Smith, senior colourist commented:

“As I look ahead to the upcoming year, I am eager to delve into RASCAL's artistic vision, both within our team and in shaping the company's identity. I am passionate about pushing creative boundaries and ensuring we produce truly exceptional work. I’m also excited to strengthen our team and collaborate on projects that resonate deeply with audiences.”

Gareth Brannan, RASCAL MD added:

“We are thrilled to welcome Tim, one of the best and most sought after colourists in the industry, to the RASCAL team. At RASCAL Studio, we pride ourselves on attracting top-tier talent, and Tim is a perfect example of our commitment to delivering the highest level of craft for our clients and putting creativity at the forefront of everything we do.”
