RKCR/Y&R launches campaign for M&S Food ‘Taste Asia’ range

Rainey Kelly Campbell Roalfe/Y&R is launching the latest instalment of its award-winning M&S Food campaign with an ad that showcases the inspirational and authentic ‘Taste Asia’ range at M&S.
The TV campaign breaks on 7 September and will be supported by press, OOH and digital activity. The 20-second ‘Adventures in the Exotic’ spot playfully showcases the ingredients that go into making M&S’ Singapore Chicken & King Prawn Laksa. Zoe Hayward, Head of Brand & Marketing at M&S, said: We’re really excited by the launch of 14 new lines in our ‘Taste Asia’ range this September. The range demonstrates our unrivalled food expertise and dedication to providing authentic, restaurant-quality dishes for our customers to enjoy at home.
Chris Hodgkiss, creative director at RKCR/Y&R added: “‘Adventures in the Exotic’ continues our award-winning campaign for M&S Food,and sees us go behind the ‘noodle curtain’ into an exotic world of stripping prawns, dancing chopsticks and seductive sauces, culminating in the delicious Singapore Chicken & King Prawn Laksa.”
The campaign was art directed by Hodgkiss, Pip Bishop was the copywriter and it was directed by Michael Roulier and Philippe L’Homme, from Foodfilm (Paris).
