SuperAwesome Selected for Tech Nation's Future Fifty
May. 09, 2025
SuperAwesome, the leader in technology for safely engaging Gen Alpha and Gen Z, has been selected to join the latest cohort of Tech Nation’s Future Fifty, the UK’s most prestigious programme for late-stage tech companies. The announcement was made at a reception hosted by Prime Minister Keir Starmer and Minister of State for Science, Research and Innovation, Lord Vallance at 10 Downing Street last night.
SuperAwesome’s inclusion in the programme marks a significant recognition of its continued leadership in an increasingly complex and fragmented space where trust, privacy, and innovation intersect. With a growing proliferation of unsafe content online, SuperAwesome’s mission to build a safer internet for the next generation has never been more critical.
In delivering safe digital experiences for kids and teens across gaming, social media, content platforms, and digital advertising, SuperAwesome enables hundreds of brands and content owners to reach Gen Alpha and Gen Z effectively and compliantly.
Kate O’Loughlin, CEO of SuperAwesome, said:
“Being chosen for this year’s Future Fifty is a proud milestone for our team. Not only does it recognize the impact of our business, but it also highlights the urgency and importance of our work. Kids and teens have never been more active or influential in the digital world - and we’re deeply committed to building the tech, tools, economics and insights to equip the ecosystem to safely include them. SuperAwesome has brought over $500M to the kids ecosystem since our inception, and we’re just getting started.”
Johnny Mayo, Future Fifty Lead at Tech Nation, emphasised SuperAwesome’s significance within the cohort:
"SuperAwesome is the only youth-centric digital technology company in this year's Future Fifty cohort. We selected them for the programme in recognition of their innovative tech, which helps brands to engage with Gen Alpha and Gen Z audiences compliantly and at scale in a fragmented and fast-moving digital landscape. They’re not just a company delivering a critical service, but a category-defining force that are driving innovation and trust in the UK tech landscape. We’re looking forward to working closely with the team in the coming months to help supercharge their growth."
The Future Fifty programme is designed to support scale-ups as they transition from Series B to unicorn and beyond. SuperAwesome joins an incredibly strong cohort spanning AI, Medtech, Fintech, and Climate Tech, which collectively represent more than £3 billion in investment and 1,800+ jobs across the UK. Past programme alumni include companies such as Monzo, Deliveroo, and Darktrace.
