Feb. 03, 2023
After a successful year creating magic, Unicorns & Unicorns kicks off the new year with the addition of Thick and Thin for new East Coast representation. Based out of New York and Miami, independent reps Bobby Rowe and Sabrina Mehar joined forces last December to create the duo now known as Thick and Thin.
After sharing a long history of working together, Bobby and Sabrina teamed up to bring their expertise and knowledge to the creation of repping company Thick and Thin representing a diverse roster of companies on the cutting edge of production and post-production techniques and disciplines, as well as progressive approaches to working in today’s highly complex marketplace for brand-oriented creative services.
U&U Managing Partner/EP Adrianne McCurrach shared:
"We’re incredibly excited to step into the flow of Bobby and Sabrina’s (Thick and Thin) energy and tap into what’s possible through collaboration."
Technical Creative Director Sun Komen added:
"There is a mutual admiration and a great momentum out of the gate. I look forward to working with Bobby and Sabrina, two folks who really seem to understand what U&U is all about and are committed to propping up our unique skillsets and expanding the breath of our work in their market."
Mehar expressed:
"We are so proud to represent Unicorns & Unicorns on the East Coast. Being a woman of color, it was paramount to me that we curated a roster that was focused not only on exceptional talent but diversity. The work they have created in TV, branded content and the experiential space is what truly sets them apart from any competition and we feel so fortunate to be part of such a smart, driven and charismatic team."
Rowe commented:
"I have been a fan of Unicorns & Unicorns from afar for quite a while and from the moment we spoke to them it was exactly what we'd hoped - MAGIC. From the ownership and leadership to the talent they represent, the Unicorns are all such obvious STARS that it makes our job easy. It has become clear since we started sharing the news that they have built an incredible reputation in just a few years and we are honored to be their partners in what comes next."
2022 was an incredible year for Unicorns & Unicorns with a long list of awards + accolades under their belt including the Titanium Lion at Cannes, 22 Clio trophies including four Grand Clios, Best Work for Good in Pro Bono/Non-Profit at the 6th Annual Ad Age Creativity Awards, International ANDY Awards top honors for bravery and social good, Black Cube Best of Show honor at 101st ADC Annual Awards, Gold Social Good - Non-Profit/Positive Change at Effie Awards, Bronze in David vs. Goliath category at Effie Awards, Best of Show, three Best of Discipline Awards and 20 Gold Pencils at One Show, and Gold in Concept Up to and including two minutes at Shots.
