Victoria and GUT Mexico City launch "Six Back," the Cerveza Victoria Initiative that Brings Back to Life the Bottles
Nov. 08, 2024
In tribute to one of the country's most emblematic traditions, Cerveza Victoria presents “Six Back”, an initiative that brings back to life beer bottles that had reached the end of their life. In collaboration with GUT Mexico City, this project uses recycled bottles not only from Grupo Modelo brands such as Corona, Modelo Especial, Stella Artois and Barrilito, but also from different brands, giving them a new life, with the Victoria beer.
Gabriel Diaz, Director de mercadotecnia (marketing director) de Cerveza Victoria shared:
"Bottles of various brands arrived at the Victoria production plant, to be filled with our unmistakable flavor. These bottles, were available last November 2nd and 3rd, within the Tianguis de las Memorias, a space in which we pay tribute to the memory of those who are no longer here."
With this, Grupo Modelo's most Mexican beer not only celebrates its dead, but also the bottles that have shared memorable moments with Mexicans. Instead of ending up in a trash, these bottles come back to life, transforming into Victorias that will once again be at the center of the tables of thousands of Mexicans, surrounded by toasts and celebrations.
