We Are Social Appoints Lucie Torcikova as Head of Design and Content
Oct. 27, 2025
We Are Social, the socially-led creative agency, has appointed Lucie Torcikova as Head of Design and Content in the UK.
Torcikova will be responsible for leading and growing the agency's design and content teams, continuing to raise industry standards for social-first design. She will oversee We Are Social’s content production, pushing the boundaries of crafted social content creation across a client portfolio that includes Carlsberg, Lucozade, adidas and more.
She joins We Are Social from Leo Burnett London, where she was Creative Content Lead. As the agency’s first-ever social-content hire, she was instrumental in building its social content offering, capabilities and team from the ground up. During her tenure at Leo Burnett, Torcikova directed work for McDonald's UK, Škoda UK, TUI, and Morrisons. She also kicked-off Kellogg's and Cheez-It social accounts, and helped drive new business.
In her previous role at OLIVER, she led global digital campaigns for adidas, developing concepts and art direction for key touchpoints. She has also helped shape digital and social campaigns for brands like Diageo, Chivas Regal, William Grant & Sons, Velux, and Philips, and worked on the early-stage luxury fashion gaming app, DREST, where she spearheaded an AR-led social campaign.
Torcikova will report to the agency’s ECD, Simon Richings, and she will join the agency’s leadership team.
Torcikova commented:
“I’m incredibly excited to join an agency where social isn’t just a business add-on, but front and centre. Years in traditional advertising teach you patience and craft, but social teaches resourcefulness, to adapt and improvise at light speed. It is an ever evolving ecosystem, requiring skills that didn’t even exist when my own career started. It’s a train that no brand can afford to miss and I’m looking forward to fully channelling that energy within my team and the agency.”
Lucy Doubleday, Managing Director at We Are Social said:
“Lucie is a real pioneer in social-first craft. Her passion and enthusiasm not just for making great work - but for putting social at the heart of it - is loud and clear. She has a unique mix of skills, experience, curiosity and drive that make her the perfect fit for helping us create the kind of work that stops the scroll; the ideas worth talking about. She’s not only an incredibly talented creative leader, but also a champion of social media and its potential, and that’s something our industry needs more of. I’m so excited to see the impact she has on the agency and for our clients.”
