1Park9 Appoints Roxanne Artesona as Executive Producer and Head of Sales
Oct. 20, 2026
1Park9 has appointed Roxanne Artesona as Executive Producer and Head of Sales, marking a significant step in the content and experiential production studio's next phase of growth.
Based in Los Angeles and working bi-coastally, Artesona officially joined the company on October 5. She will lead 1Park9's commercial strategy, developing new relationships with brands, agencies and publishers, expanding existing client partnerships and helping build a dedicated national sales operation. She will also play a role in identifying and bringing new creative talent to the studio.
With nearly four decades of industry experience, Artesona has built a career connecting creative talent with opportunities. In 1992, she founded ROXANNEandco, a woman-owned, diversity-focused talent representation company that she led for more than three decades. Her experience also includes executive production and sales leadership roles at Durable Goods and Rodeo Show, where she worked across talent representation, business development and production.
Among her career highlights is BlackMen Love for SheaMoisture, directed by Dominique DeLeon. Artesona helped bring Unilever into the project and served as co-executive producer. The work went on to receive a Webby Award for Corporate Social Responsibility, two Telly Awards and an AYA Inclusion Award at Cannes.
For 1Park9 founder and CEO Tahira White, the appointment represents a deliberate investment in the studio's future. Having built much of its business through long-standing relationships and referrals, 1Park9 has spent the past two years developing the foundations for a more structured commercial operation. Bringing Artesona on board provides dedicated leadership to take that work further.
Tahira White, Founder and CEO of 1Park9 said:
“Roxanne thinks like an owner. She understands what it takes to win work, build relationships and create opportunities. She also understood immediately what 1Park9 is. We work directly with brands, agencies and publishers, and Roxanne knows how to speak to all three. We've reached a point where our capabilities are ahead of our awareness, and she's exactly the person to help us close that gap.”
White and Artesona first connected in 2019, when White was exploring how to build a commercial production business. The two stayed in touch over the following years, and when the opportunity arose to establish a dedicated sales leadership role at 1Park9, Artesona was White's first call.
Artesona will work closely with 1Park9's existing regional sales representatives, bringing a unified strategy to business development across the country. Her priorities include deepening direct-to-brand relationships, expanding the studio's West Coast presence and developing opportunities in sports, gaming and creator-led content. She will also help bring greater visibility to the company's post-production and long-form capabilities, while supporting the continued development of its director roster.
Artesona said:
“I've known Tahira since 2019, when she was first talking about building a commercial practice, and I've watched her turn that vision into a reality. Most studios do content or experiential. 1Park9 does both at a premium level, so a client can shoot a campaign and build a live activation with one team. More marketers want a production partner who can sit at the table early, and 1Park9 is built for that. I'm excited to bring my relationships and experience to help build on what's already here.”
Beyond her commercial work, Artesona has a long-standing commitment to mentorship and creating opportunities for underrepresented creative talent. She has served as a coach for the Multicultural Advertising Intern Program (MAIP), sat on the advisory board of the Commercial Directors Diversity Program (CDDP), and spoken at USC's School of Cinematic Arts and Columbia University.
Her appointment reflects 1Park9's ambition to build deeper, longer-term relationships with clients while continuing to expand the creative and production capabilities that have driven the studio's growth.
