Acceleration Community of Companies Expands Role for Scott Floyd to Include Community and Performance Duties

Apr. 24, 2025

Acceleration Community of Companies (ACC) today announced that Scott Floyd will assume broader responsibilities as Chief Community and Performance Officer. In this capacity, Floyd will build upon his focus on collaboration between ACC agencies and will now oversee business operations, internal communications, people and culture, and technology, empowering agencies to deliver enhanced, specialized services with centralized support.

ACC founder and CEO Michael Nyman said:

“Our most valuable assets are our agencies and the talent within them. We're continuously improving how we support them with resources that make it easier to deliver exceptional work. Scott's proven ability to bring the right tools and people together will make our entire operation run faster as we shift into more of a cross-functional organization focused on growth and efficiency.”

Floyd said:

“ACC thrives on the mix of independent agencies and shared resources. By streamlining our operations and sharpening collaboration, we’ll strengthen the support systems that free our creative teams to excel—and keep building on the success of our distinctive model.”

The additional focus areas build upon ACC's strategic momentum. In September 2024, ACC acquired a majority stake in powerhouse public relations firm DKC and its studio, HangarFour, adding to its portfolio, which includes MKG, Pink Sparrow, Stripe Theory, Pixly, and Trailblaze, in addition to its bespoke in-house strategy arm, ACC Advisory. The company now offers comprehensive services spanning creative, experiential, design, data analytics, influencer marketing, and communications for some of the world's most influential brands, including Pepsi, T-Mobile, Stanley, Netflix, Google, Airbnb, TikTok, Meta, the NBA, and Delta.

Prior to joining ACC in 2018, Floyd worked for Will I. AM's tech company, I.AM.PLUS, where he was the SVP for Brand Strategy and Operations. Before that, Floyd spent 20 years at PMK*BNC, where he served as the agency's Chief Growth Officer, managing top accounts such as T-Mobile, PepsiCo, Budweiser, General Motors and Columbia Sportswear.
