Ad of the Day | Led by holiday love story, GiftNow's first-ever brand campaign urges viewers to "Gift courageously"
Dec. 11, 2019
E-gifting service GiftNow launches an all-new national brand campaign today, led by a 90-second hero spot. “The Exchange” depicts an office romance that blossoms in the months leading up to the holidays. It’s a will-they-won’t-they love story that culminates in a moment where the right gift at the right time changes everything.
The spot is the hero creative for GiftNow’s “Gift courageously” campaign, which is built on the brand’s mission to remove the barriers between generous thoughts and generous actions. With GiftNow, gift-givers can send e-gifts in seconds without a shipping address, and recipients can exchange or modify gifts before they ship—sparing them the hassle of a returns process. It’s a big win for gift-givers and gift-getters, and for retailers who leave money on the table every year.
GiftNow tapped San Francisco based creative studio Gold Front to create the spot, which will air online and on Hulu.
Josh Lowman, owner and creative director at Gold Front, says:
“GiftNow came to us looking for something that would connect with people on an emotional level. As a holiday spot, we were drawn to the idea of a love story. And the workplace setting seemed ripe for storytelling.”
