Ad of the Day | SMALL Reimagines Famous Landmarks After Alien Invasion
Jul. 15, 2021
For the Nordic launch of Amazon Prime film, The Tomorrow War, independent creative agency SMALL, have created 'The Tomorrow Billboards', an outdoor campaign which carefully selects specific media spaces positioned in front of iconic Scandinavian landmarks and showcases the impact of an alien attack in 2051 similar to those shown in the film.
Running in Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden, from the City Hall in Copenhagen to the Arctic Cathedral in Tromso, the agency helped Amazon Prime bring the war to the Scandinavian soil showing what the famous Scandinavian landmarks will look like if they are destroyed in the future by the violence of a species from another planet as depicted in The Tomorrow War.
Luca Pannese, Co founder & ECD of SMALL said:
“We’re very proud of this collaboration with Amazon Prime Video Nordics. Together with the client we wanted to impress the Scandinavian people by showing what an alien attack would do to the places they love the most: their cities. And we felt like there was no better way to do this than through an outdoor campaign, where location is key."
Luca Lorenzini, Co founder & ECD of SMALL added:
"Thanks to a close collaboration with the media agency we selected the media spaces that could allow a passers-by to compare famous buildings as they are now with the same building in 2051, after the alien attack. Collage and Single Frame helped us create these amazingly gloomy images that had the goal to literally stop people in their tracks.”
The film is streaming on Amazon Prime now.
