Agency quench Promotes Ami Lawson to Managing Director

Aug. 20, 2025

quench, the food and beverage marketing agency known for building and evolving some of the world’s most iconic brands, has promoted longtime team member Ami Lawson to the role of Managing Director.

Lawson, who has been with the agency since 2009, will now oversee day-to-day operations, client partnerships, and the continued expansion of quench’s strategic and creative capabilities.

A seasoned client service executive, Lawson brings deep expertise in CPG marketing and has played a critical role in the success of brands including StarKist, Sun-Maid, The Hershey Company, Herr’s Foods, B&G Foods, and Litehouse Foods, to name a few.

In her new role, Lawson will continue to lead from quench’s Harrisburg office while working closely with leadership across the agency’s growing client roster and integrated teams.

Michael Pavone, CEO of quench, said:

“Ami doesn’t just understand food and beverage brands, she elevates them. Under her leadership, quench will continue to push boundaries with proprietary tools like Sofa to Shelf™ and strengthen quench’s position as a full-spectrum partner for food and beverage brands.”

Known for her strategic rigor and collaborative leadership style, Lawson has built a reputation for delivering smart, integrated campaigns that balance innovation with performance.

Her promotion comes at a pivotal time as quench continues to scale its services in social, digital, shopper marketing, and brand innovation. With Lawson at the helm, the agency will further sharpen its competitive edge through approaches like Sofa to Shelf™, a proprietary methodology developed to lead clients in connecting business objectives, sales performance, and advertising into clean, relevant, and effective plans.

She’ll also oversee quench’s strategic evolution in how retail media networks are leveraged as powerful content studios and how digital and social strategies are crafted not just for visibility, but for real behavioral impact. Together, these capabilities underscore quench’s commitment to delivering full funnel solutions that meet today’s complex, fast-moving consumer landscape.

Lawson said:

"I’ve spent my career helping food and beverage brands grow through powerful storytelling and smart planning. Today, with the rise of retail media, fragmented shopping behaviors, and the blurring lines between brand and commerce, I’m focused on helping our clients not just keep up—but lead. I'm energized by the opportunity to elevate our work and drive meaningful impact for both the agency and the brands we support.”
