Aug. 02, 2022
AMV BBDO has hired the creative team Juan Peirano and Hetu Negri. Originally from Buenos Aires, the art director and the copywriter joined forces at McCann London in 2018 and since then they have worked as Lead Senior Creatives for Microsoft and Xbox.
In their time at McCann, they were part of the team behind Xbox's award-winning campaign "The Birth of Gaming Tourism" as well as worked on a range of video game titles including Gears of War and Hellblade II. They have also created "My Carer", an Alexa skill supported by Alzheimer's Society that helps people with early-stage dementia to stay independent.
Before moving to London, Hetu Negri worked at Lola MullenLowe Madrid and indie agencies in Buenos Aires, whereas Juan Peirano's career includes a range of agencies in Buenos Aires such as VegaOlmosPonce, JWT, Ogilvy, BBDO, and Grey.
Their work has been recognized by international festivals including Cannes Lions, D&AD, Andy Awards, The One Show, Clio, Eurobest, LIA, Webbys, ADCE, and Creative Circle (Spain, Argentina, and UK).
On their arrival to AMV, Peirano and Negri said:
“Since starting our career in Argentina more than a decade ago, AMV has been a consistent benchmark for creative excellence. Being invited to be part of this agency is the biggest recognition a creative can get”.
AMV BBDO CCOs Nadja Lossgott and Nick Hulley said:
“Juan and Hetu are one of the most inspired and prolific creative teams we've had the pleasure of meeting. They bring a huge dollop of Latin sauce to the work and are going to give our clients some amazing creativity and craft. Their work is out of this world, and we can’t wait to see what creative and effective work they dream up next.”
