Betclic Becomes Official Partner of the Portuguese Football Federation and Launches "Lucky Us, Portugal Fans"
Jun. 11, 2026
Betclic announces its official partnership with the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF), and the timing could hardly be better, with the World Cup ahead and a squad brimming with talent, ready to defy the odds.
To mark the moment, Betclic launches the film "Lucky Us, Portugal Fans"— created by Dentsu Creative Portugal, produced by Playground, and directed by Martim Condeixa. The idea starts from a simple insight: football is a game of talent, effort and an unpredictable dose of luck. And yet one thing never comes down to chance — the pride of supporting your national team.
Shot across the Azores, the corner of Portugal closest to the World Cup stage, the campaign was a true production feat. Crews travelled between several islands and the film brought dozens of local extras in front of the camera, in a logistical operation that matched its ambition. More than filming in the Azores, the campaign was made with the Azores.
A declaration of national pride, whatever the final score, supporting the national team will always make us the lucky ones.
