Brave Spark creates interactive 360 holiday destination guide for Monarch.

Brave Spark has created a cutting edge interactive web hub for Monarch, showing off their new flight destinations through innovative 360 city guides and playful vlogger films.

Launching on 4th May, the hub, Beyond Holidays, introduces holiday makers to up and coming destinations such as Porto and Zagreb, giving consumers a real feel for these hidden-gem cities by letting them explore in 360 before they take off.

Filmed from a first-person perspective and launching with the northern Portuguese city of Porto, the 360 films let holiday-makers whizz through historic streets on a Segway tour, take a drive around the mountains of the surrounding wine region, and see the city from the water on a boat ride down the Douro river, before they’ve even bought the flights.

Then at the end of each experience users have the choice of where to go next-whether it’s the baroque cathedral or to catch a pink Portuguese sunset down at the harbor.

The element of choice and the 360 features means that each time a holiday-maker takes a tour there is something else to see- whether it’s above, behind, or around them- and the films can even be viewed with VR headsets.

In the coming weeks and months, presenter-led films will give users another spin on the destinations, as they’re shown around by some of the best-known travel vloggers.
