Brevo Sends up the Wrong Message at the Wrong Time in new International Campaign
Oct. 06, 2026
Brevo is launching a new brand campaign. Having become a French unicorn in December 2025 after raising €500 million, the French tech champion specializing in customer relationship management now serves more than 600,000 customers in over 180 countries.
The campaign serves a dual purpose. In France, Brevo’s home market, it aims to strengthen the brand’s positioning and awareness. In the United States and Germany, two priority growth markets, it is designed to accelerate expansion.
The campaign's premise is universal: getting a message that wasn't meant for you, or that arrives at exactly the wrong moment. Four comedy spots staging situations everyone has lived through: an ad for a trendy haircut sent to a bald man, a Spring Break invitation sent to a grandmother, a notification that interrupts a workout, and another that interrupts a moment of… intimacy.
Remi Grousset, Global Brand, Communications & Creative Director Brevo said:
"Today, when you look for a tool, you increasingly ask an AI assistant, and what you get back is a feature comparison. We chose to make people feel rather than demonstrate, starting from something everyone has experienced: a message that completely misses the mark. It's the one mistake a brand building trust can't afford to make, and it's exactly what Brevo helps its customers avoid."
A B2B campaign that breaks with the category playbook
For years, B2B and SaaS advertising has followed the same formula: dashboard screenshots, client testimonials with numbers, spelled-out functional benefits and a prominent call-to-action button. Work built for the click, not for recall. Brevo goes the other way. No jargon, no product demo, not a single feature named. Each film is built around an everyday micro-moment and a shared feeling rather than a marketing persona, and all close on the same sign-off: "Brevo. The right message, to the right person, at the right time."
Antoine Defaye, Creative Director and Co-founder joga said:
"We set out to show the industry at its worst, to tell the story of Brevo at its best. Everyone gets badly targeted notifications, every day, which means there are plenty more stories to tell."
The campaign comprises four 20-second spots running from October 6, primarily on YouTube, with additional placements on Meta and TikTok. Creative by joga, production by HierSoir, direction by Edouard Valette.
