Chino Valley Ranchers and Noble West Team Up for National Launch of the Jammy Egg
Sep. 29, 2026
Chino Valley Ranchers, a third-generation, family-owned egg producer, is preparing to step outside the carton with the national launch of The Jammy Egg, its first ready-to-eat, soft-boiled product, available at Trader Joe's on September 28, 2026. The product has been six years in development and marks the first time a soft-boiled egg product has been sold at scale outside of Asia. It delivers the same soft, jammy-yolk texture found in ramen shops and specialty cafés, now shelf-stable and ready to eat in seconds - no boiling, peeling or timing required.
Behind the go-to-market strategy is Noble West, the independent food and agriculture agency that developed the brand platform, positioning and creative approach for the launch. Noble West came up with the name "The Jammy Egg" and led all product marketing and go-to-market strategy for the launch, along with all communications, including working with influencers to develop content.

The campaign, called "Let's Jam," is intended to do more than sell the new product. It's designed to introduce an entirely new eating occasion for eggs beyond breakfast such as topping ramen, avocado toast or a grain bowl. Noble West is repositioning Chino Valley Ranchers as an innovative, specialty egg brand rather than a traditional producer. The Jammy Egg is also being positioned as the foundation for a broader prepared-foods platform, with a Jammy Ramen Kit slated to follow later this year.
Aside from the product story, Noble West is helping a generations-old food brand reposition itself for a new occasion and a more culturally relevant audience, stepping into the growing protein-rich prepared-foods space.
Chris Nichols, CEO of Chino Valley Ranchers said:
"Chino Valley Ranchers has been part of American kitchens for generations, and this launch is about honoring that legacy while meeting today's consumers where they are. Partnering with Noble West gave us the strategic thinking to show up in a new category, in a new way, without losing what's made this brand trusted for so long."
Ali Cox, CEO of Noble West said:
"This isn't just a product launch, it's a long-term platform. We're building a strategy where Chino Valley Ranchers can earn a lasting place in a category that's only going to keep growing."
Chino Valley Ranchers and Noble West are building this as an ongoing platform, with retail rollout, recipe and creator content, and future product innovation planned over time.
