Christian Schmitz Appointed Head of Plan.Net International

As the new Head of Plan.Net International, Christian Schmitz will continue to drive forward the internationalization of the Serviceplan Group's digital business. The aim through Schmitz's appointment is to establish the Plan.Net Group as one of the leading digital service providers for digital experience and commerce on a global level. To this end, international activities in existing and new markets will be expanded and developed, and the networking of services between the "Houses of Communication" strengthened. Schmitz will report to Markus Noder, who, as Holding Managing Director of the Serviceplan Group, is responsible for the group's entire internationalization strategy. In addition, Schmitz will closely work with Plan.Net Holding CEO Wolf Ingomar Faecks.

Christian Schmitz is an internationally experienced expert in service / business design, digital platforms and digital marketing, and he has been active in the automotive business for years. Furthermore, he has a deep understanding of processes as well as experience in planning and controlling international and multi-level nearshore and offshore delivery models. The international expansion and strengthening of the Plan.Net agencies is also intended to support the expansion of 'The Marcom Engine', which includes the pan-European product marketing activities for BMW and MINI.

Before joining Plan.Net Group, Christian Schmitz was Managing Director for the automotive sector in D-A-CH at Accenture Interactive. He worked with high-profile clients such as Volkswagen, MAN and Bayer mainly on their international activities, and built up international delivery units for them. Prior to this, he spent four years as Lead for Marketing & Experience Consulting. Schmitz is also the founder of Carfax Europe, where he was CMO for five years starting in 2007, and holds an MBA in Innovation & Business Design.
