Costa Coffee Relishes Life's Big Little Mistakes
Oct. 31, 2022
We all know the feeling of an unpleasant inner monologue after making a public fool of ourselves. It is painful. Agonizing. And funny.
Because most of the time our social missteps are, while huge for ourselves, miniscule to the rest of the world and will probably become laughable down the road. Case in point: Costa Coffee’s new film, directed by Holger Karberg through Bacon and made with Danish agency &Co.
Last week Karberg won Directorial Talent of the Year in Denmark at commercial award show the True Award. And in the Costa Coffee spot, he once again proves his special ability to convey deadpan comedy on the premise of relatable everyday situations like deepliking your crush in the middle of the night or forgetting someone’s face at a social function. It might hurt now, but it will get better.
