Mar. 31, 2022

Award-winning music company DaHouse Audio have today announced the hire of an LA-based songstress and partner at the creative collective Amor in Sound - Monique Maion. She will take the position of a Creative Producer at DaHouse's US office.

The appointment will see Monique boost production in the US, overseeing the creative and operational processes, as well as leading and planning the production of creative campaigns. Monique will also connect both DaHouse’s team and Mario Caldato’s crew at Amor in Sound. As part of her role, she will also be responsible for realizing the original vision of projects, composing songs, and identifying new opportunities for DaHouse.

Following two decades of recording and touring the globe with bands like Sessa, Explosions In The Sky, and Dream Phrases, Monique brings with her rich artistic knowledge that will translate to her new role as a creative producer. Channeling her skills as a radio DJ at 99.1 FM KTPC Venice Beach, Monique will be composing and producing soundtracks for films and commercials alike, alongside DaHouse’s European Executive Producer, Larissa Miranda.

With a slew of music award wins and nominations up her sleeve from MFV Awards and Festival Manuel Padeiro to name a few, Monique has also worked with a number of renowned clients and brands, composing and producing soundtracks for Vans, Nike, Santander, Coca-Cola, TED lessons and HBO, among others. Her recent work with DaHouse Audio for their latest Vans campaign saw Monique produce bespoke music compositions for a series of short films, in collaboration with lyricist Iris Furazo.

Outside of work, Monique is a board member for a few nonprofit organizations, participating as an advocate for homelessness. She has also run a music program inside a homelessness shelter in LA.

Monique Maion, creative director, comments:

“I met Lucas in Venice Beach on a casual lunch with a mutual friend and we found out we actually have dozens of mutual connections. We instantly hit it off based on our love for music, production, and technology. It means the world to me to start working with DaHouse.cc and to have the possibility to create amazing work with the best of the best.”
