Disneyland Paris Stages a Total Eclipse of the Mouse
Aug. 13, 2026
A solar eclipse is a rare kind of magic and in France, it’s been 27 years since the last total solar eclipse was visible across the country, back in 1999.
As Europe looked to the skies on Wednesday 12th August, BETC Paris hacked the moment to create a little magic of its own, turning Mickey's iconic ears into an eclipse, with a topical social post designed to eclipse the moment itself.
Because when the world is looking up, there's no better time to remind people that at Disneyland Paris, magic happens every day.
