Don't Cut A Christmas Tree, Plant One! EasyPay Suggests an Alternative Miracle

Dec. 08, 2021

120 million trees are cut down every Christmas across the world, hence leading to large-scale deforestation. With that in mind, EasyPay suggests an end to this tradition, promoting an alternative New Year campaign, claiming that “The New Year miracle is not about cutting the trees down.”

Within the scope of the campaign, from Dec 1-31,  EasyPay will plant 1 tree for every purchase by QR made via easywallet.

EasyPay’s head of marketing Tigran Parseghyan, notes that the initiative is an important part of the company's corporate social responsibility and the main message is a priority.  Moreover, this year, more and more stores will offer cashback, hence doubling the New Year miracle.

At the end of the campaign, the company will share a report stating where and how many trees were planted as a result of the campaign.
