Apr. 29, 2025
Emerald Pictures has signed Katie+Co as its new West Coast sales representation, marking a strategic step forward for the production company’s continued growth and presence in the region. The partnership will be led by Katie+Co founder and seasoned agent Katie Ward, whose reputation for fostering creative partnerships and championing standout production companies makes her a natural fit for the Emerald roster.
Katie+Co is known for its thoughtful, globally connected approach to representation, pairing a curated roster of acclaimed live-action and animation studios—including MADRE, SLMBR PRTY, Tinygiant, Identity, Ghost Robot, Trizz, Jelly, Covert, Joy Rider, and Nathan Love—with opportunities that match their vision and values. Ward brings decades of experience across advertising, entertainment, and talent development, having previously held roles at Liz Laine Reps, Free Agents, BLT Recruiting, and as Head of Sales at Radium.
Led by co-founders and managing directors Mara Milićević and John Duffin, Emerald Pictures is known for its global network of visionary filmmakers and its distinct blend of artistry and execution. The company produces award-winning commercial, documentary, and narrative work, with recent collaborations spanning brands like Kellogg’s, McCormick, Sherwin-Williams, and Ad Council.
Duffin said:
“Katie has deep-rooted relationships, an understanding of the industry and a real love for the work. She’s thoughtful, collaborative, and has impeccable instincts and taste—everything we value at Emerald. We’re thrilled to enter this next chapter with her as our sales partner.”
Ward added:
“Emerald’s work speaks for itself—smart, beautifully crafted, and consistently elevated. Mara and John bring an incredible depth of experience and care to their company and their directors. I’m excited to bring more opportunities their way and support the continued growth of such a visionary team.”
