Emerald Pictures Announces New East Coast Representation
Sep. 30, 2026
Emerald Pictures has signed with Golden Owl for East Coast representation. Run by owners and partners Katrin Aul and Katie Goldstein, Golden Owl is a New York-based management company that connects agencies and brands with exceptional creative talent, making it a natural fit for global production company Emerald Pictures.
Led by founders and co-managing directors John Duffin and Mara Milićević, Emerald Pictures is known for producing top-tier commercial films with premium craftsmanship. Recent work for global brands includes spots for PepsiCo, McCormick, and Lucid. Alongside its advertising films, Emerald’s roster of award-winning talent also helms films like Rodney Passé’s “Inner Worlds: Thelma Golden,” made in partnership with the Studio Museum in Harlem and currently available to watch on NOWNESS.
Golden Owl’s Katie Goldstein said:
“We were immediately intrigued when Mara reached out. We were really impressed by Emerald’s dynamic roster, which brings together established directors alongside fresh, exciting talent. After speaking with the team, it quickly became clear that there was a strong creative and cultural fit.”
Katrin Aul, also of Golden Owl, added:
“Bringing Emerald onto our roster felt like a natural fit. Their approach and company ethos align closely with how we think about talent and creative partnerships. We’re excited to collaborate and bring new opportunities to the table. Mara and John are absolute pros, and we know our clients will be in great hands—which is incredibly important to us.”
Golden Owl is a discerning repping company focused on building meaningful relationships between its production, post-production, and music clients and agencies and brands seeking exceptional talent. Its roster currently includes ARTJAIL, Field Unit, JANE, Laird and Good Company, Moxie Pictures, Singing Serpent, Station Film, Union Editorial, Yacht Club, and now, Emerald Pictures.
Mara Milicevic remarks on Golden Owl, said:
“It has been so nice to cross paths again. I know Katrin from my days as EP and HOP in NY, and Katie has been a joy to get to know. Both Katrin and Katie are true sales partners who believe in uplifting work by bringing the right talent and clients together. We look forward to all the new opportunities and relationships to come from this partnership.”
