FAMILIA Welcomes Ciaran Bennett as Executive Producer
Oct. 25, 2022
Next generation production house FAMILIA today announces the appointment of Ciaran Bennett as Executive Producer, bolstering its commercial offerings.
Having worked as a freelance producer for the last decade, Ciaran has lent his talents to some of London’s biggest ad agencies, spanning Grey, Mother, Ogilvy, Publicis, and FCB, as well as direct-to-brand work on such campaigns as Sky’s "Harris and the Robots" and Audemars Piguet "The Future of First" - featuring LeBron James. In addition to his commercial work, Ciaran has also produced several music promos and short films.
Prior to this appointment, Ciaran had already worked alongside FAMILIA whilst producing at Sky on the agency side earlier this year. Handing FAMILIA a challenging script, Ciaran was impressed to see that the company worked differently from other production houses. The campaign was a great success, with Sky immediately commissioning a second spot. Collaborating closely with Partner and MD Toby Walsham during both projects, Ciaran appreciated first-hand what makes FAMILIA unique.
In the year ahead, Ciaran will be focusing on helping FAMILIA continue its incredible growth, having not lost a single pitch in 2022. In the long term, he looks forward to being part of a production house looking to embrace new technologies, including blockchain, web3, and the metaverse, and figuring out how best to utilise them effectively.
Ciaran Bennett commented:
"I’m so excited to dedicate my time to the future of advertising within FAMILIA. It’s all about looking forward and embracing change, and FAMILIA wants to be at the cutting edge of creativity. We’ll be looking at new technologies, not because they’re on trend and in the zeitgeist, but because they’re the future - and we want to be leading the way. Being able to be part of that is super exciting. The fact that FAMILIA’s won every pitch this year is a great bonus."
Toby Walsham, Partner and MD at FAMILIA, added:
"Ciaran has always surprised me with his calm and collected nature in the face of the incredibly challenging projects we’ve collaborated on. We first worked together on a shoot in Bulgaria for Sky, during which time I learnt about his obsessions with crypto and other next generation applications - the use of which I hope to see migrate into the creative industries more in the coming years. He joins FAMILIA during an unprecedented period of growth, and his expertise will bring a unique and much needed perspective to the production model."
