In her role as the sports marketing ambassador for AdAsia 2023 Seoul, Yuna Kim is expected to engage in various activities to promote new ideas and trends in the advertising and marketing industry, and to contribute to the successful hosting of the event by facilitating exchanges among experts in various fields.

Yuna Kim, appointed as the Sports Marketing Ambassador, has gained support and admiration from many citizens, reaching the pinnacle of her sport career. She has continuously contributed to society through various activities such as her role as a UNICEF International Goodwill Ambassador, donations to aid earthquake relief in Haiti, and contributions to the Figure Skating Dreams Scholarship in South Korea. Even after her retirement, Yuna Kim, the symbol of trust and hope, has appeared in over 160 advertisements which made her earn the title of not only "Figure Queen" but also "Advertising Queen".

Especially known as a global sports celebrity and an icon of South Korea, Yuna Kim has served as the advertising model for major domestic companies and brands, creating a positive image and contributing to sales enhancement. Furthermore, she has played a significant role in pioneering and expanding the sports marketing market in South Korea. After retiring as an active athlete following the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics, she has continued to thrive as the representative icon of K-Sports Marketing, actively participating in advertising campaigns for brands like KB Financial Group, Dongseo Food, SK Telecom, New Balance, DIOR, Cuchen, and Gatorade.

Yuna Kim has endorsed brands like KB Financial Group and Dongseo Food for over 10 years, and SK Telecom and New Balance for over 5 years. As an enduring ambassador for numerous brands, she has gained high popularity among the public and has earned trust and love within the advertising industry.

Kim, Nack Hoi, General Chair of AdAsia 2023 Seoul Organizing Committee, stated:

He expressed his belief that Yuna Kim, who brought joy and hope to the people by rising from a figure skating desert to the world’s top, will be able to widely spread the value of advertising and communication.

AdAsia 2023 Seoul will take place from October 24th to 27th for four days at COEX in Samseong-dong, Seoul. The AdAsia 2023 Seoul is Asia’s largest conference on advertising, digital content, media, creativity, and marketing communication, with a tradition of 65 years. This is the third time the appointment ceremony is being held in South Korea, and this year’s ambassadors include Yuna Kim, short-form video creator Ox_zung, and actress Tae-hee Kim.
