FilmBrazil Celebrates Two Decades in Cannes with new Film from GUT
Jun. 20, 2025
FilmBrazil, the internationalization platform of the Brazilian Association of Audiovisual Production (APRO), in collaboration with GUT, announces the film "Outfit Reels" during the Cannes Lions. Produced by Untitled with a soundtrack by S de Samba, the campaign overflows with fashion, technology, and content to give visibility to the work of Brazilian directors and production companies.
The film "Outfit Reels" amplifies the visibility of Brazilian audiovisual alongside the Brazilcore trend. With funk beats in the background, it reveals how the idea of transforming t-shirts, caps, and ecobags into interactive media spaces comes to life. The film revolves around NFC (Near Field Communication) technology, showing how, with a simple phone tap, Festival attendees can access a curated selection of reels from national production companies and talents.
Marianna stated:
"The film captures our vision that fashion can be a form of expression. With it, we want to promote Brazilian creativity and the work of our directors and production companies in Cannes. We are immensely proud of the final result of this fashion film, which managed to convey the rich Brazilian culture in just one minute. We will make this edition, where Brazil is the honored country, even more special."
It's worth noting that FilmBrazil partners with ApexBrasil, Globo, S de Samba as the sound producer, Spcine, and InvestSP, an investment promotion agency linked to the Secretariat of Economic Development of the State of São Paulo.
