Ford and Born Social Celebrate the People who Keep the UK Moving with "Another Ford Transit" in new Campaign

Ford Pro and Born Social have turned an everyday sight on UK roads into the focus of a new campaign for Transit, after capturing 320 of the vans passing a single stretch of road in just an hour at 5am in the UK.

The footage forms the basis of "Another Ford Transit", a new campaign celebrating the people behind the UK’s most popular van and the role they play in getting the working day started.

Almost one in five vans sold in the UK is a Transit. Rather than simply telling people how popular the vehicle is, Born Social set out to prove it.

At 5am, the team filmed a single stretch of road for just sixty minutes on roads in the UK. In that time, hundreds of Ford Transits passed the camera. The real, unstaged footage became the campaign's hero film, transforming Transit’s everyday visibility into a celebration of the people behind the wheel.

Building on Ford’s wider ‘Mornings Made Possible by Doers’ territory, ‘Another Ford Transit’ shifts attention from the vans themselves to the tradespeople, business owners and workers already on the road while much of the UK is still waking up.

The campaign will run across organic and paid social, supported by cutdowns, with paid content driving audiences through to book a test drive.

Peter Watt, Communications Manager, Ford Pro, said:

“We see Transits everywhere, but it’s easy to forget what each one represents: someone starting their day, running a business, delivering a service or getting a job done. Every Transit on the road is a reminder of the people making the working day possible. Transit has been part of their working lives for generations, and ‘Another Ford Transit’ gives us a simple way to celebrate that relationship.”

Simon Cooper, Executive Creative Director at Born Social, said:

“Most brands would spend a fortune to be this visible in everyday life. The interesting challenge with Transit wasn’t how to get people to notice it, but how to make that familiarity mean something to see it so frequently. By simply counting what was already there, we could turn Transit’s ubiquity into recognition for the people behind the wheel.”

‘"Another Ford Transit’" builds on a wider creative territory for Transit focused on celebrating the people behind the wheel and the role they play in keeping Europe moving.
