G&A Adds Strategic Leader James Wilkinson as SVP, Growth

Jul. 15, 2024

Interdisciplinary experience design studio G&A continues to strengthen its leadership team, adding James Wilkinson as SVP, Growth. Seasoned and unwaveringly committed to craft, his addition underscores G&A’s continued thoughtful expansion as it cultivates even stronger partnerships with brands, museums and cultural attractions.

James joins G&A with over three decades of international experience, living and working across Europe and North America for some of the world’s most prestigious creative agencies and brands. His world-class portfolio includes projects with eco-friendly startups, educational institutions, global non-profit organizations and brands – leading teams at agencies like Leo Burnett, Questus, and Publicis Sapient. With a relentless drive for excellence and a keen understanding of market trends and consumer behavior, he consistently navigates complex challenges with creativity, agility and precision. Now at G&A, James will bring his invaluable perspective to the studio’s team, enabling new ways of working with clients to create   experiences that deeply resonate with audiences.

Wilkinson explained:

"I love chasing ideas –  spending time thinking about the business needs of a brand or institution and working with them to build an experience that’s unforgettable. That’s what excites me about G&A. They are truly masters of their craft – with unrivaled storytelling skills and an uncommon understanding of what drives people to engage with an experience. Few others have expertise in applying the long-term brand-building power of museums to various other sectors. And because G&A is truly interdisciplinary and can handle everything from media production to business and creative strategy to software development, fabrication and beyond, there’s a real opportunity for clients to reap some pretty significant rewards. It’s a tremendous value that I can’t wait to explore with new and existing clients."

G&A CEO Scott Wickstrom agrees, added:

"Having worked directly with James for more than a decade, I know he has the right mix of experience and insight to help us achieve our goals, provide additional support to our team, and strengthen our already remarkable public reputation for delivering transformative experiences to our clients' guests and visitors worldwide. Our future is already looking as bright and encouraging as ever, and with James supporting our efforts, we’ll have even more opportunities to deliver success for ourselves and – more importantly – drive impact for our clients."
