Gerety Awards Brings Creative Industry Leaders Together in London
Nov. 04, 2026
The Gerety Awards will bring London's creative community together on November 10 for an evening celebrating the 2026 Gerety Awards winners, alongside a Gerety Talk exploring one of the industry's most pressing challenges: how to build more compassionate and sustainable creative careers.
Hosted at MSQ in Covent Garden, the evening will feature a panel discussion titled "Closing the Creative Industries Career Compassion Gap", bringing together leaders from across advertising, media, talent and brand strategy to examine whether the industry is doing enough to support its greatest asset: its people.
At a time when job cuts, burnout, a widening gender pay gap and limited opportunities for emerging talent are raising questions about the future of creative careers, the discussion will challenge the industry to rethink how it attracts, develops and retains talent.
From navigating career setbacks and the messy middle of professional life to building successful creative cultures, embracing flexible career paths and creating meaningful change, the conversation will explore what the industry should be doing differently and how compassion can be placed back at the heart of talent strategy.
The panel will feature:
Anna Hristou, Founder, Wildwood Talent & Coaching. With a background spanning leading creative agencies and more than a decade connecting talent with opportunities, Anna brings insights into career development, recruitment and coaching.
Roshannah Bagley, Co-Founder, Where Are The Black Designers. Roshannah brings a perspective on representation, visibility and creating opportunities for talent across the creative industries.
Jess MacIntyre, Brand Futures Director, Smarts. With 18 years of experience across media, technology, advertising and strategy, Jess brings expertise in leadership, brand culture and navigating change within the industry.
Tom Houser, Executive Creative Director, ITV Creative. Having worked at Uncommon London, BBC Creative, Havas Chicago, Grey and VCCP, Tom brings the perspective of creative leadership and experience working across some of the industry's most recognised agencies and brands.
The discussion will be moderated by Nicola Kemp, Editor at Creativebrief.
The Gerety Talk forms part of the Gerety Awards' ongoing commitment to bringing the international creative community together for conversations that go beyond the work itself, exploring the people, ideas and challenges shaping the future of the industry.
The evening will also provide an opportunity to celebrate the winners of the 2026 Gerety Awards, recognising outstanding creativity from around the world, while bringing together agencies, brands, production companies and creative leaders for drinks and networking.
