Gerety Talks with Harshik Suraiya, Vinit Bhatt and Chintan Pandav from Vanilla Films. In 2023 they were awarded with Indian Production company of the year.

Agency & Production Company of the year by country is chosen by the local juries from the portfolio cut and requires a single film no longer than five minutes in length and includes up to three pieces of work from the past 12 months.

Vanilla is a Production House/Creative Shop founded by Harshik Suraiya, Vinit Bhatt and Chintan Pandav who are not just production partners but co-creators. They work with the sole objective of delivering the best product with excellent storytelling. Vanilla films were awarded for their portfolio cut entry that included the following spots: ‘Robbery’ for Asahi India Glass Ltd, ‘Hand Ambassador’ for ITC Savlon and ‘Forced Packs’ for Bournvita.

Harshik Suraiya is an accomplished ad filmmaker who has made significant contributions to the advertising and film industries. While working with Ogilvy, Mumbai as a Creative Director, Harshik's work garnered widespread recognition and praise from prestigious publications such as The New York Times, Time Magazine, The Guardian, People Magazine, The Wall Street Journal, BBC International and many more.

In his role as a co-founder and Director at Vanilla Films, Harshik is the guiding force shaping the creative vision of the production company. Vinit Bhatt's narrative is a tapestry woven with threads of passion and transformation. Despite starting with an engineering degree his heart led him into the enchanting realm of photography. Crossing borders, he refined his craft in Brazil, guided by the esteemed Mr. Manoel Marques, a luminary in both painting and photography.

For Vinit, the joy extends beyond freezing moments in time; it thrives in breathing life into ideas. As a Producer, he has etched an enduring mark in ad filmmaking since 2017. Along this journey, he has seamlessly collaborated with brands such as Thums Up, Tata Power, Red Label, Savlon, AIS Windows, Flipkart, Ather, JIO Fiber, Cadbury Chocobakes, UPI, Bournvita, and others.

Chintan's cinematic journey is shadowed with just one thing- his love for storytelling. He began with meandering through the realms of live sports broadcasts, documentaries and branded content within the dynamic sports and infotainment industry, enriching his appreciation for the art of filmmaking. This profound connection with cinema led him to co-found Vanilla Films alongside two partners.

Chintan's ingenuity shines through in his notable work, particularly the thought-provoking "Bournvita Forced Pack," which sparked discussions within the industry. In his role as a director, Chintan has forged collaborative partnerships with renowned brands like Cadbury, UPI, HiPi, Thums Up, Prolyte, Mumbai Cricket Association, and MTV.
