Global Post House Church Edit Welcomes New York-Based Editor Sarah Jordan
Jul. 21, 2026
Global post house Church Edit welcomes New York-based editor Sarah Jordan. With a background spanning award-winning feature documentaries and humor-driven commercial work, including multiple Super Bowl campaigns, Jordan has developed a distinct editorial voice defined by sharp comedic instincts, an intuitive sense of rhythm, and emotionally grounded storytelling.
Specializing in high-profile commercial work, over the course of her career Jordan has become a trusted collaborator to some of the industry's most recognizable creative voices. She has worked extensively with Ben Affleck's production company Artist Equity, editing multiple national campaigns for Dunkin’, including two star-studded Super Bowl spots featuring celebrities like Matt Damon, Jennifer Lopez, Tom Brady, and Jeremy Strong, to name a few.
She has also collaborated with Ryan Reynolds' Maximum Effort, crafting the fast-paced, irreverent comedic work the company has become known for. Her portfolio reflects an editorial style that balances impeccable comic timing with subtlety and depth.
Originally drawn to filmmaking after making her first film in college, Jordan began her career assisting at a Manhattan edit house before moving into freelance documentary work. She went on to contribute to acclaimed feature documentaries like ‘Tiger’ (HBO, 2022 Sports Emmy winner for Outstanding Long Form Editing, Jigsaw Productions), ‘Sophia’ (Showtime, Tribeca Film Festival 2022), and ‘Money Shot’ (Netflix), which was named one of Variety's Best Documentaries of 2023.
Those formative years in documentary shaped Jordan's editorial approach, teaching her to build story through structure, performance, and emotional nuance. Whether working on a feature or a 30-second commercial, she believes every project should take an audience on a complete emotional journey — a philosophy that continues to inform her work today.
Of the signing, Church Edit co-founder Mah Ferraz said:
"Sarah brings an outstanding blend of storytelling and humor to her work, and we're thrilled to welcome her to the Church team at this exciting moment as we open our New York office!”
Sarah Jordan said:
“Church has made a lot of noise in a short period of time for a young edit house, and that reputation inspires a lot of confidence. As a comedy editor, joining now as they open their NY office felt like a great opportunity to add something new to their roster and to be part of building something bigger than myself.”
