It's Piraeus Time: A Century of Passion, A Moment of Destiny
May. 20, 2025
Time doesn’t stand still. It flies. It slips away. It leaves behind a sense of unfinished business. But sometimes, it circles back—bringing with it the promise of redemption.
After 12 long years without a title and three consecutive appearances in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Final Four, Olympiacos B.C. returns once again to the grand stage. This time, the hunger runs deeper. The fire burns brighter. And the belief… unshakable.
To mark this defining moment in the club’s 100-year history, Piraeus Bank, a brand intrinsically tied to the spirit of the city and the team, released the campaign film titled “It’s Piraeus Time.” Developed by The Newtons Laboratory, the campaign transcends traditional sports advertising. It is a tribute to persistence, passion, and pride—capturing the collective yearning of a club, its fans, and the people of Piraeus for the long-awaited fourth EuroLeague title.
Rather than leaning on metaphors or dramatic action shots, the film puts Olympiacos front and center: its players (Evan Fournier, Sasha Vezenkov, Kostas Papanikolaou, Thomas Walkup, Shaquielle McKissic, Giannoulis Larentzakis, and club legend Argyris Kampouris), its coach Giorgos Bartzokas, the devoted staff, and most importantly, the city that lives and breathes red and white. From the locker room to the heart of Piraeus, the spot builds a pulse, a shared heartbeat, a rising sense that this is more than basketball. This is about reclaiming time. Owning it.
In Olympiacos, they trust. In Piraeus, they believe.
Because now, more than ever:
It’s Piraeus Time.
