JKR Appoints Ricardo Bezerra as ECD, Further Strengthening its World-Class Creative Leadership Team

May. 15, 2025

Global branding agency Jones Knowles Ritchie (JKR) today announced the appointment of Ricardo Bezerra as Executive Creative Director. His hire follows closely on the heels of Stuart Radford who joined the agency last month as ECD.

Ricardo brings more than 25 years of award-winning experience in branding, design, and innovation. As former Partner and Chief Creative Officer at Tátil Design, he led transformative projects for global brands like Coca-Cola, Burger King, Danone, ABI, and Natura, as well as the groundbreaking Rio 2016 Olympic & Paralympic identities and the Rio Carnival Brand—one of the most awarded projects of the last few years—which earned two Gold Cannes Lions.

Ricardo has spent much of his career at the intersection of technical design and conceptual art, combining these two areas to become a multidimensional creative force. His work is rooted in authenticity, purpose, and originality, values that align with JKR’s mission to build distinctive brands, everywhere.

Bezerra said:

"JKR has always stood for bold thinking and true distinctiveness that breaks through and resonates across the entire consumer experience. I’m more inspired than ever by the opportunity to bring my Brazilian creative DNA to such a remarkable global legacy. Together, we can inspire more brands and people to embrace their true selves—everywhere, and why not, at every moment. After all, the journey of evolution is ongoing."

Joining JKR after the agency was recognized as Creative Review’s Most Creative Design Agency and one of Fast Company’s Most Innovative Companies, Ricardo is ready to help shape the next chapter for JKR along with some of the best in the business.

Tosh Hall, Global Chief Creative Officer at JKR said:

"Ricardo has been on our radar for a while. He’s at the forefront of branding in Brazil and beyond, partnering with some of the world’s most iconic brands. As soon as we met, it was clear that we shared the same creative philosophy - find what makes brands unique and communicate it in a way that’s exciting and relevant. We look forward to joining forces."

Ricardo will be working across JKR’s global portfolio of clients.
