
Liquidity, The Leading Ai-Driven Private Credit Firm, Challenges Category Norms With Rebrand Created With Futurebrand

Liquidity, the world’s leading AI-driven private credit firm, providing flexible growth financing to mid and late-stage companies globally, has partnered with FutureBrand, the brand-led strategy and design company, to develop a bold new brand strategy and identity that breaks category convention. Drawing on luxury cues, the rebrand is designed to showcase the transition into a new era for the firm as it expands its global presence into new markets.
Liquidity’s ambition was to evolve its former tech-oriented brand identity to better emphasise its humanity – in particular, its unique approach to combining the firm’s nexus of human intuition with its proprietary AI decision science technology, albeit firmly grounded in the financial services industry.

The FutureBrand team’s collaborative approach felt like a dynamic partnership throughout the entire process. They understood our vision and translated it seamlessly into design and strategic elements that captured precisely what we set out to convey."



Following a deep dive into the outlook, attitudes, and expectations of Liquidity’s target audiences – and how the business serves them – FutureBrand developed a brand idea called ‘Change The Current’. Rooted in Liquidity’s purpose of 'propelling partners through changing currents', the idea reflects the company’s role in helping its portfolio companies move forward with speed and agility, navigating shifting financial landscapes and cultural trends, while providing flexible long-term growth capital that scales with their ambition.
As the cornerstone of the new identity, a new wordmark was created – a customised, capitalised version of the company name set in the sans typeface Valve. The varied thicks and thins, along with ink traps, balance modernity with heritage while conveying a sense of forward momentum. This echoes Liquidity’s ambition to propel its clients through a world of change, reinforcing the reassurance of a trusted financial partner.
The new branding’s primary palette combines an opulent Current Green with Pulse Yellow to convey force and energy with Quiet Sand for balance and breathing room. As well as reinforcing the qualities of the customised font, these colours also harness luxury cues to convey self-assurance to reflect Liquidity’s premium service proposition for visionary mid and late-stage companies globally.
FutureBrand developed a new graphic language for Liquidity, using abstract silhouettes to represent both individual progress and collective momentum. In addition, a new verbal identity was crafted to reflect the company’s technological leadership and transformational impact. Charismatic, human, and distinctive, the voice captures the personality of the business and allows Liquidity to stand apart in a crowded category.
To complement the refreshed identity, an elevated photographic style was introduced across events, portraits, and marketing collateral. This visual approach reinforces the brand’s relationship-driven ethos and premium positioning, adding depth and consistency to how Liquidity presents itself to the world.
