Lucky Helps JCPenney Deliver Holiday Wishes for Joy, Comfort & Peace
Nov. 12, 2020
JCPenney brings a welcoming, joy-filled celebration of the holidays in a new spot where families embrace the spirit of the season with loving and playful moments, warm get-togethers, and twinkling lights. Lucky reveled in the magic moments to help bring the narrative, directed by Ramaa Mosley of Station Films, to life.
Edited by Logan Hefflefinger, the anthemic commercial kicks off with a grandmother and granddaughter holding hands and singing a rendition of Three Dog Night’s "Joy To The World," followed by buoyant, wintery scenes encapsulating what so many of us are grateful for - being together. A time-honored tradition, JCPenney has been serving customers since 1902, wishing joy, comfort and peace this year and always.
Throughout his career, Josh Schoemaker has been regarded as a passionate leader with ability to develop talent and optimize in-house teams and resources to bring exceptional concepts to life through art, animation, typography, and production, the perfect manifestation of which is the new spot: ''Sing Along.''
Unity, solidarity, comfort – the three components that form the basis of this Christmas ad – make us believe in Christmas miracle, feel the warmth of a loving family, appreciate what we have and live happily ever after.
