MADRE is excited to welcome Executive Producer Chloe Sedelmaier into the fold. An industry veteran with 15 years of experience in sales and production, her extensive, diverse background will help amplify MADRE’s incredible roster of directors as the company continues to grow and evolve.
Throughout her career, Sedelmaier has worked everywhere from creative studios to production companies and post houses, using her expert eye to pair the right creatives with the most aligned brand opportunities. At MADRE, she will work closely with the company’s rep team to identify each director's strengths and connect them with stories that support their individual artistic goals.
As a leader, Sedelmaier takes pride in understanding directorial talent, their style, and who they are as people, bringing key elements of humanity to her job as an EP. She uplifts every team and collaborator she works with while making each process as frictionless as possible. Unafraid of a challenge, she loves embedding herself in the production process, overseeing many commercial projects for top brands like Gillette, Downy, Modelo, Coca-Cola, FanDuel, Carnival Cruises, Hotels.com, Febreze, La-Z-Boy, Honda, and Toyota.
Sedelmaier on joining the celebrated production company remarked:
“I’m extremely confident in the work that MADRE has done—the sky’s the limit!. I’ve had my eye on them for a while. MADRE’s got a strong foothold in the US market, and their roster is really impressive. These aren’t just directors on an endless list of talent trying to fill a gap; they’re carefully crafted filmmakers.”
Jonathon Ker, Co-Founder and Managing Director of MADRE, added:
“We had only met with Chloe briefly when it became abundantly clear that we were all very aligned in the vision for MADRE and our directors. I’m very excited to have her on board—she’ll undoubtedly help us reach an even wider audience in the near future.”
